Chorus
O’ Lord of mine; forgive me, Lord forgive me
I have sinned immensely; have mercy on me, Lord have mercy on me

I know that I have sinned; for that I am guilty
I love You; You are The Light, You are The Almighty

A day will come, when we will leave everything behind from this life
That day, we will lie alone in our graves
With empty hands, I have come to Your court, (please) relieve me (of punishments)
My sins amount to that of a mountain, You are The Most Merciful, (please) pardon me

مَوْلايَ صَلِّ وَسَلِّـمْ دَائِمـاً أَبـَـدًا
عَلى حَبِيْبِـكَ خَيْــرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِـمِ

مُحَمَّدٌ سَـيِّدُ الْكَــوْنَيْنِ وَالثَّقَلَـيْنِ
وَالْفَرِيْقَـيْنِ مِنْ عُـرْبٍ وَّمِنْ عَجَـمِ
Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is the leader of both worlds and both creations. And both groups, Arabs and Non-Arabs

نَبِيُّنَـا الآمِرُ النَّــاهِيْ فَلاَ أَحَــدٌ
أبَـرُّ فِيْ قَــوْلِ لاَ مِنْـهُ وَلاَ نَعَـمِ
Our Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is the one who commands (good and), forbids (evil). There is none (parallel to him) more truthful than him
(صلى الله عليه وسلم) in saying “No” or “Yes”

هُوَ الْحَبِيْبُ الَّــذِيْ تُرْجٰى شَـفَاعَتُهُ
لِكُــلِّ هَوْلٍ مِّنَ الأَهْـوَالِ مُقْتَحَمِ
He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is the most beloved, whose intercession is hoped for. For every fear (and distress) that is going to come (on the day) of agony (and fears)

دَعَـا اِلىٰ اللهِ فَالْمُسْـتَمْسِـكُوْنَ بِـهِ
مُسْتَمْسِـكُوْنَ بِحَبْـلٍ غَيْرِ مُنْفَصِـمِ
He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) called (the people) towards Allah, so those who cling to him (صلى الله عليه وسلم) are clinging to a rope which will never snap.

فَــاقَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ فِيْ خَلْـقٍ وَفِيْ خُلُـقٍ
وَلَمْ يُـدَانُوهُ فِيْ عِلْــمٍ وَّلاَ كَـرَمِ
He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) transcends the Prophets (عليهم السلام) physically and in (noble) character. And they (the Prophets) cannot come near him (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in knowledge and nobility

وَكُــلُّهُمْ مِّنْ رَّسُـوْلِ اللهِ مُلْتَمِـسٌ
غَرْفَا مِّنَ الْبَحْرِ أَوْ رَشْفاً مِّنَ الدِّيَـمِ
And all of them (the prophetsعليهم السلام ) obtained from Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم). (Like a) handful (of water) from the ocean or (a few) sips from continuous rains.

وَوَاقِفُـوْنَ لَدَيـْـهِ عنْـدَ حَدِّهِــمِ
مِنْ نُّقْطَةِ الْعلْمِ أَوْ مِنْ شَكْلَةِ الْحِكَـمِ
And they (prophets عليهم السلام) all stopped before him (صلى الله عليه وسلم) at their (assigned) limits; (either) at a point of knowledge or to gain a wisdom from (his) wisdom.

فَهْوَ الَّـِذيْ تَمَّ مَعْنَــاهُ وَصُوْرَتُهُ
ثُمَّ اصْطَفَـاهُ حَبِيْباًم بَارِيءُ النَّسَــمِ
For he (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is the one with whom, ended all outward and inward perfection. And The Creator of all creation chose him
(صلى الله عليه وسلم) as (His) most beloved.
