Shahe Madina

Shah-e-Madina Lyrics

Shah e Madina x2
Yas Rab kay wali Sare Nabi tere dar ke sawali
Shahe Madina x2
The Shah of Medina, the Shah of Medina
The protector of good, all prophets seek answers at your door
The Shah of Medina, the Shah of Medina.

Jalwae hain sare teray hi dam say,
Abad-e Alam tere karam se x2
Baki har ek shai x2
Nakshey khayali sare Nabi tere dar ke sawali

Shahe Madina x2
All attractions are due to you, the world progresses due to your efforts
All other aspects are imaginary images, all prophets seek answers at your door
The Shah of Medina, the Shah of Medina.

Tere liye hi duniya bani hai,
Neelay falak ki chadar tanee hai x2
Tu agar na hota x2
Duniya thi khali sare Nabi tere dar ke sawali
Shahe Madina x2
For you is this world created, this blue sheet of the sky spread out.
Without you the world would be empty, all prophets seek answers at your door
The Shah of Medina, the Shah of Medina.

Tuney jahan ki mehfil sajai,
Tarikiyon mein shama jalai x2
Har simt chayee x2
Raat kaali sare Nabi tere dar ke sawali,
Shahe Madina
Shah-e-Madina
Shah-e-Madena
Shahe Madinah
Shah e Madina
You decorated the intimate gathering of this world, lit up the paths of history
Heaven rests on your shoulders, all prophets seek answers at your door
The Shah of Medina, the Shah of Medina.

Other Verses in Original Poetry

Mazhab hai tera sab ki bhalai, maslak hai tera mushkil kushai
dekh ke apni umat ki khasta haali, sare nabi tere dar ke sawali
Your religion says that all should be advantaged, your laws make all difficulties disappear,
Seeing the benefits of it on your people, all prophets seek answers at your door.

Hai noor tera shamso qamar mein, tere laboon ki laali sahar mein
Phoolon ne teri khusbu chura li, sare nabi tere dar ke sawali
Your light is in the suns and moons, the redness of your lips in the dawn,
flowers have stolen your fragrance, all prophets seek answers at your door.

Kaba ka kaba tera hi ghar hai, tere karam pe sab ki nazar hai
Dikhlade hum ko darbare aali, sare nabi tere dar ke sawali
The Kaba of Kaba is your home, all eyes are on your grace,
Show us the way, wise one of the court, all prophets seek answers at your door.

Hain ap dukhyon ke aaqa sahare, Taje shafa at hai sar pe tumhare
Ham ko aata ho roze ki jaali, sare nabi tere dar ke sawali
You are the soother of those in distress, the crown of healing is on your head
Grant us the net of fasting (? not certain about this), all prophets seek answers at your door.

Taiba ke wali sare nabi tere dar ke sawali
Shahe Madina, shahe madina, shahe madina”
The protector of good, all prophets seek answers at your door
The Shah of Medina, the Shah of Medina.

  4. Rozey ki Jaali is not fasting but the structure that people hold on to at the Roza -e-Paak in Medina that is shaped like a ‘Jaali’ or netting. I dont know if its wood cement or steel but its what the poet is calling Jaali.

    • Why does it say “All Prophets seek answers at your door?” Just asking for my knowledge, and not out of disrespect.

  15. "Roze ki jaali"

In this context, "roze" doesn't mean fasting. Rather, it refers to the place where he is burried- his "shrine"

:) And without a doubt, this is a VERY beautiful naat.

  18. I guess the name of poet of this naat shareef is Naeem Hashmi. There is a missing: Kadmoon main tarey arshe bareen hai, Tuj sa jahan main koi nahi hay, Kandey pe terey kamli he kali.

  19. It’s a beautiful and heart touching Naat.
I just want to make a correction, the ending line ‘Hum ko ataa ho roze ki jali’, here ‘roze Ki jali’ doesn’t refer to fasting. It refers to the tomb of rasulullah at madinah. Every muslim dreams of getting a chance to touch it, to pray two nawafil here. That is what it refers to (:

    • Yeh shirkya naat hai. The naat implies that Prophets (peace be upon them all) ask (as in sawaali) Muhammad (peace be upon him) Nauzubillah that they commit shirk. All Prophets (peace be upon them all) including Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) only asked (as sawaali) only Allah. Allah has prohibited making distinguishing between Prophets. Ek aam musalman bhi Nabi Kareem (peace be upon him) k darr ka seawall nahi ho sakta kuonkay yeh baat Nabi Pak (peace be upon him) ki taleemat k khalif hai.

      • Please do not put comments as such try and find out positive answers instead, As Muslims, we all should be proud of the praises of our beloved RASOOL (s.a.w) only non Muslims create controversy and put down his status instead of elevating him.All Muslims should be happy to sing his praises coz we all know that ALLAH AZAWJAL granted him to us.

Dua kar ke tujhe hidayat naseeb ho !
Koi apne khazane se kuch ni deta, sab kuch Allah ki ata hoti , Allah swt ke mahboob ke wasile se milta he, Dunya ka nizam aise he chalta he mere bhai.. AaQa saw sare insano aur nabiyon se afzal he , qayamat me shafa’at ka faiz sirf mere nabi ko haasil he, ‘Sare nabi Tere Dar ke jawani’ – isi mudde me aata he, sare nabi kal qayamat me AaQa Kareem se apni ummat ki shafa’at ka sawal karenge… Bina Jane shirk o bidat ka fatwa na dete Jao… Allah hum sab ko hidayat aur rasoolallah ke mohabbat ke raaste me rakhe
        Bura laga to maaf kardena…

        • Tu yeh bta k tje Allah k bare mai kis ne btaya? R Quran Pak mai Allah pak ne irshad farmaya “Jab tum apni janu par zulam kar betho to mere mehboob k dar pe aao mai tumhein bakhsh doun ga” maloom yeh howa k Allah pak ne apne mehboob ki shan btai r yeh btaya k ana yahan hai r bakhsh mai doun ga. Jab hum Hazoor k dar pe nai jaein ge to hum kese bakhshe jaein ge? Huzoor hamare liye duwa karein ge to hum bakhshe jaein ge. Dosre lafzoun mai Hazoor hari bakhshish ka wasila hain zreya hain. Ab tum chahe abu jahil bano ic se kisi ko koi farq nai pare ga siwae tumhare.

        • R hassan khan qiyamat k din jab Hazoor shifaat karein ge to tum kehna mje aap se shifaat nai krani mje bass Allah ki madad chaye. Tab tum ko pta chale ga jab jan pe bani ho gi. Putar uc time Hazoor ki madad r shifaat k ilawa r koi nai ho wo be nai jo tumhari pedaish ka zreya bane wo b nai jinhoun ne tumhein gumrah kiya.

        • i can understand brother, there is nothing great over Allah (nozibillah)…even our beloved prophet muhammad (saw) has said this….but he is most beloved to Allah over anything… so if you love allah, love his beloved prophet muhammad (saw) also….there is no harm in praising our rasool e akram (saw)….just we have to keep in mind the shirk…..because most of time, we humans get carried away…. baaqi allah is all forgiving and merciful…..

  25. The “Ham ko aata ho roze ki jaali”
Is supposed to be “Ham ko ataa ho roze ki jaali”
Meaning may we be granted with the honor of embracing the cage (jaali) of where rasoolAllah saws is located in Masjid E Nabwi in Medina :)
